Bangsar bazaar ramadhan

After almost a month of the fasting season for the muslim, i finally got to visit the bazaar ramadhan. I went to the one at Bangsar with Eling, as she was too craving for those ayam percik and the kuih muih. We were there around 3pm, shopping for clothes. I was hoping to find a dress for my brother's wedding this friday but i just cant find one. i got pretty fed-up already by 5pm and we hopped off to the bazaar - happily. haha.
We were greeted by a sight of colourful kuihs at the first stall and also wonderful aroma of all the foodies. We scurried our way to the ayam percik stall. I think it was the same stall from last year. The price is still the same : Seketul for RM5 and sepanggang for RM10.
ayam percik

i was drawn to this stall selling trays and trays of colourful agar-agar. The sight of the agar-agar is so beautiful that i stood there for a minute staring at it. i didnt got to try it as there are already lotsa people crowding around the stall. I think i will have to wait long for my turn. The price is reasonable at RM1 for 3 pcs.

It was like looking at pictures at the art centre as they looks very like modern art with those colourful swirls and dots.

Of course, not forgetting my favourite - keropok lekor. Its crunchy but its very oily. I still prefer the one at TTDI but its alright. The stall is always there on sunday. So i need not to be afraid. haha.

We feasted with our eyes on all the foodies that we cant just cramp all into our stomach. There are nasi tomato, kueh teow goreng, murtabak , etc etc ...... We both like ooh-ahhing all around, wishing to eat all up right there.

Lastly , we dropped by at the kuehs stall and got some of my favourites - the seri ayu ( green soft cake that looks like flower) and onde-onde.

I wish to visit again but i dont think i have the time. Well, maybe next year. We left around 5.30 pm as i was rushing to the buka puasa dinner with my colleagues. We went to Manhattan Fish Market. It was my first time there and i felt weird to buka puasa at a western restaurant. Shouldnt we have ayam rendang with nasi tomato instead of fish and chips? whatever la, im not the one who pay the bills. hehe ........

while waiting ........

I had sizzling louisiana prawns with baguette. The sauce is creamy with a tinge of cheese. Quite disappointed because its was something like KFC cheezy wedges sauce but the prawns were great - fresh and meaty.

Amie and Yatied had the Gala Fried seafood plater which was strictly for two. Fish, prawns, fries, oysters, calamari - all fried. Well, fried foods are always good. -_-

Last but not least - the group picture.
