the story

She was reading to sleep in her bed. Soon after, she heard the front door downstairs clanking. Panic, she jumped from her bed and dashed to the door, dropping her book to the floor. She makes no attempt to pick it up. She cupped her left ear to the door and listened. There - the door was opening. Quickly, she switched off the room light and dashed to the bed and hid herself under the blanket. She closed her eyes and pretends to sleep.

The quietness engulfs her fear like a wolf spying on its prey. She swallowed hard and listened. She can hear footstep in the kitchen. Crash! Her eyes flew open. Broken cups - She thought and prayed no one will be hurt. She followed the sound of the footstep. It's at the front door now. There was now screaming of words that she couldn't make it out. She pulled the blanket tighter until her knuckles turned white. She closed her eyes again and forced herself to sleep. She still heard muffles of screams downstairs. The screaming brought her back to 17 years ago when she was a little girl......

While she let the scenario playing in her head, she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Harry potter and the deathly hallows

I'm not exactly a Harry Potter's fan but the released of the seventh book : Harry Potter and the deathly hallows, thrilled me to bits and pieces. I, of course didnt go and queue up as early as my friend Adeline at 5am @ KLCC to buy the book at 7.01 am - I heard there was a commotion when KLCC opened. But she managed to walk out ALIVE and happy 'coz she got the book!Congratulations!

Factually, i was waiting for Moon to send me a copy of e-book to me. Being jobless now, i think it's pointless to spend that much on a book. o_O Maybe i will buy the full-set collector's version later, eventhough i already have a few series of the book.

I'm not sure where she got it but I had just received the file from her this afternoon and spent my day reading it on my laptop. I wish i can print it out. Reading from the laptop screen made my eyes goes all bleary. I'm now asking around my ex-colleagues and friends whether they can print it out for me. It's not easy, there are freaking 397 pages!!! Don't let your boss know you are printing it unless she/he is a HP fans. Don't say i didn't warn u. Bler !

i'm now already at page 48. I just can't stop reading it although my eyes hurt like crazy. I think i will just have to bear with it until i got it printed out.

still alive and kicking.

im back . man , life is difficult. Work is making me hate to blog. camera konk-ed off already , dont even mention taking pics. sooo lazy, i tell you.
but its all different now. wahahhahaha. life is wonderful. i've resigned. But dont have a new job yet to bitch about.
cool huh

I should have made this decision earlier but thinking of what i'll be missing when im finally eligible to go really sickens the hell out of me. I''ve spent my 2 years and 8 months there, although stagnant yet interesting and enough. the cost and the people who i'll be leaving behind are the main factors that conjure up such difficulties in decision making. So after much thoughts for sometime, i'll finally decided that i want to leave. It's a really big step for me as i for one surprised myself that i even came up with that conclusion. After a week being jobless, the reality finally kicks in - hit me hard on my face, that i've really already resigned and i no longer able to sit at my desk and chit chat with my colleagues. They have eventually became my FRIENDS.

Anyway, i still can have occasional drink with some close ones. Believing in given time, and the sincerity of friendship i know somehow or rather i could maintain my smile once again.

All i want now is a long long holiday. the best will be spent at beaches, where i can stroll along the sands of time, where i can enjoy ice-cream under the hot sun, where the breeze keeps blowing endlessly at my very complexion, where i can watch and laugh at kids plays in sands, where i dont need to have the privelege to go though the day with stresses, where i dont have to keep an eye on the damn phone calls, where there's no need to look at the computer keying in the damn PO and the bloody invoices. Yucks!

I can then say -- Hey , i ve no regrets. You who are so blinded by the means of the corporate world, have you actually tasted life? i have , at least for the moment.

Here, pictures that reminded me of happy times.
