a long way to go~~

I dont even know if
im shouting out of relief or frustration
arghhhhh.........
i hope i didnt mess up my interview.

for those who didnt know,
i was called for an interview with
the Jakarta company i was telling you
not long ago.
i was all pumped up yesterday night
practising replies to anticipated questions.

but gosh
right from the start i was thrown off balance
by the fact that the interview was carried in such
an informal manner.
Aside from me being nervous as i already was,
the interviewers were certainly nothing to shout about.

There was a lady and a man
- Local Chinese and Indo Chinese
I had a hard time listening to the man
Because he was speaking ‘different’ English
I have to admit that I was guessing my ass off
what he asking me at least 50% of the time.
And yes
I messed up big time once. Haha.
I spent like a minute or two ranting to a
question I totally heard wrongly.
So embarrassing.

Basically the interview started off pretty shakily
Aside from being caught off guard,
I fumbled with my initial responses.
But thankfully along the way I began to get a feel for it
And was comfortable enough to crack some jokes.

Phew

It ended pretty alright in the end, I guess
I honestly don’t think I flunk the interview
But I certainly didn’t ace it as well.
I probably passed the interview ,
But I surely fail on a personal level –
Because they keep on stressing the point
of not hiring a lady for this position.

I think im gonna be so much more polished
The next time I got pick for interviews.
There is definitely so much room for improvement.

Oh boy,
Enough negative ruminating for one day.
Gotta go de-stress now –
