is the world ending?

the year started off with an aftershock
of the DEC 26 Tsunami :-
Lotsa death
Lotsa suffering.

then it went quiet for a while.

but

again Yesterday July 19
tsunami swept across tourist beaches
and smashed fishing villages
on Java's southern coast,
killing at least 574 people.

i was a bit worried
because Karen is at Surabaya
while Jo , at Jakarta.
i didnt know if their area was affected or not.

That day was like hell to me
i logon to web based msn
which i normally dont do at work,
they are not online.
i sent them numerous email every single hour,
no reply.

im so relieved by the end of the day
when i received their emails.

phew

They are alright.

Anyway, Karen is coming back end of August.
Finally , she took our advise and resigned.
I think she is coming back and help her dad out.

Good. we can have our Thursday nite out again.
